Jason Jagel: La Machine Molle

I made this video for Jason in Jan of 2020 as he was preparing for his show at Gallery 16. I really like the simplicity of this video. It was one afternoon in Jason’s studio. We hung around for a bit and then he just started working. The show is based on Robert Wyatt and his group "Machine Mole" and their 1972 performance broadcast on French television. Jason was playing the record by Matching Mole called O Caroline while he was working. I decided to channel the music and Jason’s work vibe and just see what happened. I was super happy with the look and feel. It’s nice to work like this.
