We are not having any trouble in our department despite what you’ve heard

This video was created in collaboration with the Danish Art Collective Koh-i-noor and Den Frie Contemporary Art Center in Copenhagen, Denmark in 2011 and was installed in the entrance to the art center. This was my second installation/informational video. I wanted this to play in the lobby and appear to be a promo video that one might watch while they wait in line to purchase tickets. We shot this during the opening hours of the art center in order to create further confusion: is the fight real or is it staged.

It begins as a very typical straight-forward promotional video for the Art Center but rapidly collapses into an emotional crisis involving the hostess, the Danish interpreter, the director and a missing cat.

The video also premiered on Danish Television and premiered in the US at the 2012 San Francisco International Film Festival.
