Director’s Commentary

A misunderstood gift, a confused moment of infidelity and a Segway ride become plot problems as the main character realizes she’s in the wrong film. Featuring Beth Lisick, Jonn Herschend and Scott Vermiere, with music by No Age.

This short film was initially created in 2018 as a three channel comedy installation for an exhibition at Michelle Grabner and Brad Killam’s Suburban Riverwest location in Milwaukee. It was my first collaboration with actor and writer Beth Lisick, and my first time on screen as an actor. Following the exhibition, we decided to create a theatrical edit, which premiered at the 2019 San Francisco International Film Festival.
